Light foot traffic is best avoided for the first 1 to 2 weeks. You can usually walk on it briefly for watering or essential access once it has been well watered and feels firm. Wait until it has rooted before regular use.
Do you remove the old lawn before laying new turf?
Yes, in most cases we remove the existing grass and weeds so the new turf can root into a clean, level base. Skipping this step often leads to uneven settling and poor drainage. We then prepare and level the soil before installation.
